Man.
For a bunch of 13:5X 5Kers with supermodel girlfriends and tech titan wives you're a pretty boring lot when it comes to automobiles. If Letsrun were a physical place I'm envisioning a lot full of white, grey, and black interchangeable SUV/ Crossover vehicles. Oof. What a waste of so much money and engineering ingenuity.
For $35K I want something enjoyable. Sure, a car is utilitarian, but while giving up a little in practicality you can gain a ton in enjoyment.
Pro-tip: If you don't know cars and don't plan to do some wrenching yourself, get something a couple years old and sporty and fun on carmax and pay for the extended warranty. If you poke around the automotive corners of the internet you can find stories of folks finding expensive exotic cars on there and keeping them running for years as a daily driver thanks to the warranty.
If you can do without a warranty I spend a lot of time on
The community is as passionate and knowledgeable as Letsrun, but obviously cars instead of running. And no 430miler or Jamin (yet).
