There a few deleted posted here that have been quoted. Surely, you’d see common sense and delete the quotes too?
Do we really need to tweet this thread to Black Lives Matter again?

I think you need to report the posts with the quotes. I doubt mods read every thread which is why they have the “report a post”
As long as their final destinations are Chappaqua and Chappaquiddik, then I'm good with it.
What's a few hand guns compared to the only nation that has dropped atomic weapons on civilian populations? When it comes to killing, America does it best. Right, Donald?

Don’t worry, all the bad people stayed home on caravan day. To think otherwise is racist.
That seems reasonable. Wouldn't you think seriously about leaving if you lived in a place with the highest homicide rate in the world?
It really isn't fair to compare the homicide rates in the Golden Triangle (Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador) to other countries. The violence that makes up the vast majority of the murder rate in the Golden Triangle is open gang warfare. After the violent civil wars in El Salvador and Guatemala as well as spill over violence from the conflict between the Sandinistas and Reagan's anti-communist right wing government forces in Nicaragua, tens of thousands of young men who were professional killers for the right wing governments "security forces" (i.e. paramilitary groups that carried out disappearances, torture and summary executions of leftists) were left without a job in countries that were devastate economically by years of war. At the same time, stepped up enforcement in the US and Mexico pushed a lot of the drug trade into the Golden Triangle. Naturally, these killers went to work for the drug cartels and related street gangs. The government response was "mano dura" or "heavy hand". Basically, the military was given carte blanche to deal with the drug gangs. This only caused the violence to escalate in the long run after minor reductions in conflict upon implementation. Now, the drug gangs have virtual impunity because the jails are all full. And anyone who goes to jail who is not committed to a drug gang emerges from jail as a full member because the gangs run the jails.
But the violence is closer to an armed insurgent conflict than a gun fight when a drug deal goes bad or someone gets killed when they don't pay their drug dealer. Gangs use kidnapping and extortion to raise revenues and ensure gang loyalty. There is very little enforcement because much of the government is infiltrated and controlled by gangs. So, you have countries where there is the constant threat of kidnapping and extortion and anyone who is not affiliated with a gang will be killed if they do not agree to join. There is basically no law enforcement. And rival gangs engage in open and heavily armed conflict. So, to put the violence in the same context as other countries is just like comparing apples to oranges.
I was not aware of the exact numbers, but I am not shocked.
One way to reduce illegal immigration is to make those countries much safer and have government that protects its citizens. However, that is way easier said than done.

As OP indicates, this is clear that these are true refugees fleeing from a high crime location (5x murder rate ratio), and so USA is obliged by international law to help them when they reach the border.
Wouldn't they be safe once they reached the Mexican border?
If the U.S. gov't were actually concerned about this drop in the bucket in immigration stats, then they could act at any moment to stop the group within a day, but that would be less politically convenient than hyping the story for the media for months about this alleged invading horde.
Tijuana Mayor Juan Manuel Gastelum said Thursday that caravan migrants arriving by the hundreds are no longer welcome, an increasingly common sentiment among residents of the Mexican border city. Gastelum described the caravan of Central American migrants as a “horde” that has been infiltrated by criminals who now threaten the community, in an interview with Milenio Television. “Tijuana is a city of immigrants, but we don’t want them in this way,” the mayor, a member of the conservative National Action Party, said. “It was different with the Haitians, they carried papers, they were in order. It wasn’t a horde, pardon the expression.”
Gastelum called on the Mexican government to deport the caravan migrants as soon as possible.
“You’re going to tell me we have to respect human rights,” he said. “But human rights are for law-abiding humans.”
The mayor’s comments reflected anger among many Tijuana residents at the increasing number of caravan migrants who have been streaming into the city since last weekend. About 3,000 were there as of Thursday night, and thousands more are expected to arrive over the coming weeks.
We should be proud at turning America brown as quickly as possible, since multicultural brown countries are so happy, successful, and peaceful, we should strive to be just like them.
38% of homicides but 8% of population...
is it racist if its backed by statistics? at that point isnt it factual?
The Mexicans have been supporting these invaders on their trek to America, the land of the hated fascist Whites and their racist country!
Seriously, time to open fire....shoot them like it's a game.
“It’s a tsunami,” he said during a news conference at City Hall. “This situation is purposely orchestrated, with the intention of harming Tijuana,” he added, without specifying who might be behind the group.
But it’s not just the mayor who is upset. Some local residents unhappy that the migrants are showing up and demanding services and turning parts of the town into a campsite confronted them a couple nights ago.
The problem has really just begun for Tijuana. An additional 6,000 migrants are expected to arrive in the next few days and those who want to apply for asylum legally may have to wait six months or longer.

Residents of Tijuana, Mexico aren't taking too kindly to thousands of members of a migrant caravan - hurling insults, rocks and even punches at the Central Americans which have arrived by the thousands in an effort to ultimately seek asylum in the United States.
Ivis Muñoz, 26, has considered returning to Honduras. The coffee farmer called his father in Atima, Honduras, on Saturday to consult on his next move a few days after being attacked on a beach by locals in Tijuana. His father told him to stick it out.
Munoz was asleep on a beach in Tijuana with about two dozen other migrants when rocks came raining down on them around 2 a.m. Wednesday. He heard a man shout in the darkness: “We don’t want you here! Go back to your country!” Munoz and the others got up and ran for cover, heading toward the residential streets nearby. As the sun rose, they hitched a ride on a passing truck to Tijuana’s downtown. Now he is staying at the sports complex.
Francisco Lopez, 50, owns a furniture store nearby. He said a group of migrants took food from a small grocery a few doors down, and he worries that crime in the area will rise the longer the migrants stay at the shelter.
Outside the complex, lines of migrants snaked along the street to receive donations of clothes and coolers full of bottled water being dropped off by charity groups and others looking to help the migrants.
"We want them to return to Honduras," said (ambassador) Rivera, noting that each migrant must decide whether to apply for asylum in Mexico, wait in line for US asylum, or go home. According to the Mexican Interior Ministry on Friday, 2,697 Central American migrants had requested Mexican asylum under a program launched on October 26 designed to expedite credentials for those who intend to live, work and study in southern Mexico.

Indeed, these are the same people who demand that Trump "open his heart" (ie violate USA immigration laws) to the so-called migrants.
The perverse "charity" incentives are also on full view.

Why not give them rides back home, like they did in the other direction?
the homicide rate is so high because Americans are willing to pay exorbitant prices for illegal drugs.
