Why can’t Auburn design a course that is close to the correct difference? This course was probably 300m+ short for the men.

One of the coaches measured it the day before with a wheel and it was only 47 meters short. SEC was STACKED this year!!! -
Is Kiprop done for the XC season or will he be racing at Regionals and Nattys?
-
Lot of guys and gals will be lying about their "8k or 6k PR" from this race for the rest of their lives. Absolutely no way any of those runners could run those times on a correctly measured course, even if perfectly flat.

It's XC, who gives a flying frick? -
Hotty toddy!
There's a good interview with Vanhoy on the Twitter account where they emphasize that this win was definitely achieved in part by guys from the past few years and I think that's really smart. This win doesn't happen without the transfers from Domanic or Engels to help build the foundation. Women with third is a great showing for Ole Miss too. -
Auburn has a rep for being short, but cross county is about place. I remember in 2006, Auburn's course for their invite was over 1/4 mile short. There were some fast times that day!
-
Exactly! A lot of the women ran over a minute faster than what they ran two weeks ago! I know its XC and place is what matters, but isn't it a little annoying to think that someone you beat by 30 seconds 2 weeks ago now has a better listed PR than you? I think 300 meters short is probably about right.

How bout some love for Florida women finishing 2nd, with individual winner Janet Pascoe. They'll have a good shot at making nationals.

That was the first thing I noticed in those results. Alabama was missing their other top Kenyan also. Plus, where are the other guys that he brought from Kenya?
I think he held them out, but that’s 100% speculation. -

Well since you obviously don't know, it would have to be 100% speculation. Think about it. -

Like you lie about breaking 20 for 5k yesterday, kinda like that? -

Just found this article. Apparently they're redshirting this season. -
Only Arkansas' 5th runner is a senior and she finished in a almost a dead heat with their 6th runner, a junior. They are doing great this year and should kill it next year.

Go Rebs!(or Sharks or whatever)!
-
Glad to see Solinski is turning things around with the Florida men's team.
-
Alabama and the preseason hype...lolz
-
The results said, "Jessica Pascoe." Congratulations to Ole Miss and Arkansas!
