Yup. And even if not... you're supposed to run facing traffic. If you can't see the car coming, you're probably in a homicide situation and don't stand a chance anyways. Probably more likely to be mauled by a bear in a city.

I run 70-80 mpw 100% alone, and have done so for years. I listen to music on easy runs, long runs, and race warm-ups if I feel like it. If I were running with others, I'd be talking to them, so not sure what the difference is unless you're insecure. Don't listen to music for workouts or races because I find that it doesn't do much for me in that setting - I tune out the tunes when I'm in a more focused state. Y'all need to relax and spend more time focusing on being better at running, not worrying about what others do.
