Ya, that looks pretty damning.

I have contacts at sportstats, I can certainly have them review these results. And issue DQ, or remove him from the results.
Despite having no life, I will be busy until about Tuesday, and may not be able to reach out to them. Before then.
Me and my fat ass will be at Big’s Backyard Ultra, trying not to be the first to drop.
Maybe we should hold off on contacting them for a few years and see if Spady turns out to be another Kip.
Is mention of Jane S*e*o* now verboten here on Letsrun?
Well that was quick, Robert Spady has now had his times removed from the Okanagan Marathon 2018 results along with his position at the top of his age category:
He's still in the 2017 results, though, at the moment.

Cool. Good work, everyone!
Get a life or maybe just a girlfriend. You have way too much time on your hands.

Lol, you must be new here. First of all, I am a girl. I run D1, so I’m pretty busy, but I still have enough time to post on letsrun! ?

Hi cheat!

Or maybe he quit, walked back by the finish, and never claimed to have finished in the listed time.
I could believe either.
Anybody have the guts to ask him before putting him on the cheater wall of shame?
Hi Derek.
your fat butt is running an ultra. I doubt that.

Well, he's signed up for the race.

Maybe he's picked up some tips from all the people he's busted over the years. This sounds like a job for Boots on the Ground!

But, bro, your mum likes his butt on top her and pounding her all romantic like...isn’t that just as tiresome?

Hi Derek.
You caught me. I registered this name years before Doubler and before my interest in cheating because I knew someday I'd want to post under different names and would want a registered name among the fake names.

Since it’s in Laz’s backyard, it won’t be an issue. I may not even make it to an official ultra distance. I did run 74 miles in a recent 24 hour race though. It’s public on Strava. Not a great result, but more than Incould have done a year ago.
Digging into this a bit deeper, it appears that the course cutting Spady did in 2017 was out of being dumb and possibly not telling the timer or RD about it after crossing the finish line so he didn't get listed in the official results. In that DNews article published in October 2017, Spady does say that he didn't finish the Okanagan 2017 marathon:
The race video we have from 2017 does show him crossing the finish line but with his bib taken off his shirt and likely held in his hands unlike from race photos earlier in the day where it is pinned to his shirt:
https://www.marathon-photos.com/scripts/event.py?template=MPX2&new_search=1&event=Sports%2FSTCA%2F2017%2FOkanagan%20Marathon&match=298For the number of races that Spady has done over the years, I think he should have realized not to cross the finish line while carrying his bib and timing chip after he cut the course to abandon the race. I wonder if he actually told any race official that he was abandoning or if he just went home straight after.
But this explanation for the 2017 marathon doesn't explain the course cutting evidence we saw for 2018 where Spady doesn't even show up in any photos or videos yet his chip registers at multiple timing points. I wonder if Spady is the guy in the big blue hoody riding a bike in his supposed 10 km race video with his race number and timing chip somewhere under that clothing.
Perhaps Spady was tired from his Ironman Chatoonga again like in 2017 and opted to ride a bike around the marathon course on the grass to support someone but not realizing he is triggering the timing mats. This could explain why we don't have any clear pictures or videos of him in sight of the cameras. And then he didn't realize to check the results that he won his age category or tell the timer or race director again in 2018 to remove him from the results.
This could all be sheer stupidity for both years. The course cutting happened in both years but I'm giving the big benefit of the doubt that Spady did not intend to claim them as finishes.
Derek, perhaps it would be good to reach out to the doctor to ask him if this is what happened? It would help clear his name and straighten out the results from 2017 in Sportstats. It would also be a good basis for another Marathon Investigation article about not crossing timing mats after you abandon and to tell the race officials what you are doing, lest the person accidentally takes the age group win.
