nope, unlike the children on this board I accept what she and/or her coach say. She is already on record saying this will not be a workout.

I know right, she's so good and controlled that she can run 1 second slower per quarter mile on a cross country course and tell the difference (15-20 seconds, her words). She's probably almost as good as you! Way to go Duane! It's just a workout, I'm not really pushing, well kinda, not all out, just a little, well 15-20 seconds slower than all out, ...Duane, give it a rest, 6 or more posters explained it to you over 2 days, you still don't get it.

ok let me spell it out as I do not think you ("The Coarse") followed. The poster to whom I referred posted that he/she will attend the next race at Bear Mountain, where the course map shows the 1 1/2 mile and 2 mile points are very close to the start and finish. So I was not in any way referring to the race at Sunken Meadows.

God only knows it should not be too much to ask what I requested, except for many of the low lifes who seem to thrive on these boards.
I'll be there.

This guy is so off-putting.

HI Duane!
I see the children are alive and well

We're no different Daune. We simply disagree and are just as guilty for not letting it go. No one made me post or you, we simply disagree and they disagree with us. We are all children and need to grow up.

and yet she does interviews saying it was a workout. So I guess my half brother tough guy is calling her a liar.

Now Duane, simmer down. I think he and others are calling you a liar, not her. She's saying what her coach told her to say, just as any of us would. She ran very hard, to not admit that is fooling no one but yourself. You've got to grow up and rise above. Everyone is NOT going to agree with you, deal with it and move on. A few posters have obviously gotten under your skin. Take a step back friend.

You poor triggered old man! I almost feel sorry for you. Posters are surely trolling you as you've gotten too uptight sir. You need to take a deep breathe and relax. Breath in and then out. You can do it pal, we're with you brother.
no, I have time, I will keep giving it back

You know zero about Katelyn and her effort during races, aka jogging workouts;)
I know for one thing it was not a jogging workout, child

We all know, it was a race within 15-20 seconds of all out. Weak minded people, look in the mirror, can't accept that.

It certainly was a race! I did calculations and such a few pages back. Anyone who calls it just a workout isn't very bright and doesn't understand the "word play" going on with coaches. It's nothing new. Duane? is kinda lost on that part. Give him some slack, he probably didn't run cross country before or just doesn't get it. Move on, if he hasn't understood by now he never will.

It's a losing battle. You're not getting what they are saying and they are right. You're taking words that people say too literally. But, keep battling, it's surely not making you look smarter.

Sorry, I won't really be there. I have Hall Monitor duty. I was just saying that because it felt good at the time.
So I know I am a little slow, but how does any of this (pre Bowdoin Park race/workout) post have anything to do with what she did at Bowdoin Park most recently? It seemed to be focused on Balboa Park.
"Using Cheserek as baseline and applying 1.11 male/female conversion factor:
EC/Holmdel: 14:53 x 1.11 = 16:31 KT actual: 16:21
EC/Sunken Meadow: 15:20 x 1.11 = 17:01 KT actual: 16:53
EC/Balboa Park: 14:52 x 1.11 = 16:30 KT actual: ?????
I'd give her 16:20, maybe another five seconds, not breaking sixteen.
Hope we see her there but I suspect she may make the same decision as last year and pass."
BTW, I actually like what you did here, it just is not related to this discussion of whether she "raced" at Bowdoin Park on 10/20. Though I think data suggests Bowdoin Park is a little slower than Holmdel, which would imply her recent time at Bowdoin might be ~15-20 seconds off what she can do. But if you have better data on that, by all means post it.
Anyone gonna be there @ BM today to report splits?
