If Rupp was running Amsterdam instead of Chicago or Berlin, the Rupp-haters would be foaming at the mouth.

I, for one, am hyped to see Mo fans go home DEVESTATED as GOAT Bekele puts away all the haters and runs at least #2 all time.

I, for one, am hyped to see Banana Bread go away FOREVER as GOAT Bekele epic fails as usual and DNF's again and for all time.
This race is built around him, like the Calcutta 25k. To make him relevant again, or at least sort of relevant. Dude had a great career, but his GOAT days are over. He is going to get the win in around 2:05's 2:06's. World record? Hahahahahahahahahahahaa!!! Yeah, right, sure, ahum, Please!
I don't say when hell freezes because I've been to Antarctica and that kind of cold is really hellish.

What the hell is wrong with people here? I thought this was a running site. Discus the MF topic!
Like you said, this is a running site. Therefore, the people here are not interested in field events.
Expecting a course record at the very least but hoping for much more. Any chance of him running 2:01:xx is probably gone. If all the hype around his recent 40k tempo is legit, maybe we'll get a sub 2:03.

If he's really in shape I could see him running 2:04:xx*
* with Vaporflys. (around 2:06 / 2:07 in non spring loaded).

The field doesn't look like the strongest, but it's much better than the Calcutta race. From what I've seen (possibly not the entire elite field):
Lawrence Cherono, 2:05:09 PB and defending champ, last race was a 2:09 for 7th in London.
Mule Waishun, 2:05:39 PB, 4th last year. Last race was a 2:08 for 6th in Rotterdam (also has a 59:44 this year)
Gideon Kipketer, 2:05:51 PB, last race was a 2:06 for 4th in Tokyo
Laban Korir, 2:05:54 PB, 7th last year. Last race was a 2:05:58 for 4th in Rotterdam
Kaan Ozbilen, 2:06:10 PB, last race was a 2:14 for 14th in London ('17 world champs). Has a 60:08 this year
Jonathan Korir, debut. Can't find anything on this guy ...
The field looks smaller with less depth than usual, for sure. Amsterdam usually seems to have a big field of 2:07-2:10 guys, with some of them then having a big breakthrough in Amsterdam. I think last year a group of 15 went through the half right at 63. Top 10 finishers were all sub-2:09
Colin Sahlman runs 1:45 and Nico Young runs 1:47 in the 800m tonight at the Desert Heat Classic
Molly Seidel Fails To Debut As An Ultra Runner After Running A Road Marathon The Week Before
Megan Keith (14:43) DESTROYS Parker Valby's 5000 PB in Shanghai
Hallowed sub-16 barrier finally falls - 3 teams led by Villanova's 15:51.91 do it at Penn Relays!!!
Need female opinions: I’m dating a woman that is very sexual with me in public. Any tips/insight?
