Really alot posters on here just jump on threads and sprew thoughts without really rationalizing and true thinking
Gwen stated she is mad she isnt in 2:19 shape and posters saying she'll be lucky to run 2:30-2:35.
1. The lady ran 2:41 off triathlete training years ago
2. Had a baby deciding to become fulltime runner and 6 months after baby runs 15:15 in first track race since 2009 (this one indoors)
3. Joined one of the best marathon training groups in the U.S. with Shalane Flanagan and Amy Cragg.
4. Coached by knowledgeable Jerry, so if he didnt think she could run 2:19 EVENTUALLY she wouldnt be saying it now.
5. Even if she only runs 2:29 she still only been a fulltime runner ONE YEAR! More actual long distance/marathon training and look for her to take significant chunks of her pbs from 3000m to marathon.
Keep doubting her and I guarantee she runs sub 15 for 5000m in 2019 and thats just the start!!!
