I have been having a sharp pain on the top of my foot when I run up steep hills. The rest of the time, I don't notice anything, but flexing my foot going uphill seems to cause the pain. Also, when I get up in the morning, my foot is usually kind of tender but then it loosens up as the day wears on. This has been going on for over a month now, but I haven't done anything because the pain is so isolated and the foot is not tender to the touch. However, my performance has also been rapidly declining since I've had this so I thought it might be related. Anyone have any ideas about what might be going on?
