Even with all the changes etc the Oregon Women's team looks great early on. Easily winning a home meet. If all the pieces come together , they could win it all.

Other thread(s) have pointed this out, that losing Katie and Lilli probably did not hurt them at all.
I like those two , but the team is much better it seems
Who cares about " other " threads
I opened this thread expecting pics, and went home devastated.

They are jacked right now, ff Rainsberger and Burdon would have stayed they would have been JACKED
Even right now, I can't see Oregon beating New Mexico, but if they Rains/Burdon stayed, while NM still would have a decent shot, I would have given the edge to Oregon

The Kenyan girl Susan E . Is a real surprise so far . She was really good in track but not so in 2017 Cross . She is jacked !

2:11 800 in the one time she ran in HS. I'm thinking she should be on the XC team.
She's a 400/800 runner, she was on Oregon's 4x4 team and on the world junior 4x4 this past summer. But she's gonna somehow put it together for a 6k on the 2nd best program in the country?
Should Rav Rodgers have run XC? She was the 800m CR holder (1:59).

She's actually more of a 200/400 runner. Clearly she is not going to do XC, but for the love of all that is good, I still think she should.
Def Jacked!!
Cross - No !

If you are a true sprinter, a D1 level 200/400-type, it is highly unlikely you are going to be good a XC. The reason are the same as why a true long distance is not going to be good a XC. Sprinting and running long distance are almost 2 different sports. I have had some high school sprinters who were decent at cross, but running 17-minutes on a 3.1 cross does not mean anything is college.

In Pre's time college women were not allowed on the track, Bill didn't allow it. (Either of them).
Today, he's just happy to be anywhere and invited out to an event. Vin did a very, very good thing.

I think some of you missed the point, which is that seeing her race in the fall would make the world a little bit better place.

Well the other Bill (Bowerman) would urinate on his athletes.
