The most DNS/DNF running group in the elite sport had another DNS/DNF? Shocking!
Rupp Boston DNF
Hasay Boston DNS
Rupp Copenhagen DNS
Hasay Copenahagen DNS
Hasay Chicago DNS
And that's just the roads, 2018. Rupp has more DNS and DNF results than any other elite. (Maybe that's why he's only won one major international race in his career.)
Also, can you see the missing part in the above list? I expect an announcement soon...
Looks like a silent ban for the cheats. USADA finally reacted.
Well, Rupp won Prague. Let's see whether he is allowed to start now.

I don’t care who her coach is, she seems like a genuinely good person and I wish her well.
Fair enough, but many a good athlete has been ruined by a coach.
Absolutely. To be clear, what I meant was ‘don’t hate her, just because you hate Salazar’.
I would love to see her switch coaches.

"Her hour-long strength-training sessions began with a warm-up of dynamic stretching, followed by core and hip work and some kettlebell drills. Next came the heavy work: She deadlifted 205 pounds (twice her body weight) and box squatted the same, usually doing circuits with those two moves plus air lunges and box jumps."
Air lunges and box jumps and they wonder why she has a heal fracture?
I wonder if Eliud Kipchoge does all that stuff?

No, he doesn't. Maybe Al Sal is influenced by Paula Radcliffe's use of plyometrics and he thinks that type of supplementary training is needed by females for success in the marathon?
Besides his running background how knowledgeable is Salazar in strength training? What is his education background in coaching and strength training? Does anyone know?
My coach always told us a little plyometrcs goes a long way in distance running. I’m fan of skipping and bounding but I don’t think box jumping is needed in marathon training. But that’s just my opinion.
I know Salazar is a fan of year around strength training. And they may work for 5 and 10 k training but for the marathon I think it would best to curtail some of that during the latter stages of training. But again just an opinion.
Pulling out never leaves me satisfied

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
