Salazar didn't go with DeCastella's surge at Rotterdam 83, because he knew they'd gone too hard and he'd come back to them, remember?
And he didn't go with the leaders in LA, because with the conditions they'd come back to him.
^^^These are both false statements.
Alberto knew when they pulled away that he couldn't maintain and that he was through that day, zero chance of winning. They surged hard and he was toast. Lopes and DeCastella were NOT coming back to him.
Stuuuuuuuupid!!!!!
In LA? He couldn't go with the leaders, period. Easy to make excuses afterwards. Do you know how many leaders were ahead of Alberto in that pack when he dropped off?
Both of your claims about Alberto are 100% wrong. There's nothing to remember. Alberto did NOT say what you claimed after finishing both races.
