A sub par quarterback who was 3-16 in his final two seasons and has been out of the league for two seasons has been allowed to go to trial against the NFL alleging collusion. In addition to his poor performance on the field during his last two seasons as a starter, he voluntarily offended a large percentage of his team's fanbase (costing his employer large sums of money) by regularly sitting or kneeling during the national anthem, wearing pig socks to practice, wearing Fidel Castro shirts and stating that individuals who died fighting for this country "are dying in vain". Unfortunately, this quarterback's skill set is only effective in a specific system that only a handful of teams operate / have personnel for. At least two of those teams brought him in for workouts and couldn't come to terms on an agreement or did the regression analysis and determined that he would cause more economic harm to their franchise than any value he would bring. If you are going to be offensive and alienate a fan base, you had better be good.
