Indeed, the nebulous "victim" word didn't appear in anything anyone said, until the "definition guy" injected it, and tried to twist up what happened to fit a narrative.

We need to ban all porn, ban all violent video games & movies, teach abstinence-only sex education, bring back school prayer, and slash all entitlement programs (except for Medicare and social security for the elderly...).
5) Can it be proven that the shooter is a registered Democrat? If yes, you’re done! The cause is the violent political ideology of the left. Didn’t you know the Nazis were Social Democrats? Didn’t you know that the Democratic Party of the early 20th century was pro-segregation? The only solution to save our Democracy is to have single party control of the Government and to make Trump & his family POTUS for life—that’s how you save Democracy!
6) Is the shooter a woman? If yes, this is a rare event but the cause is the loss of family values, no fault divorce, legalized abortion, easy access to contraception, and women’s inability to handle work related stress. We need to ban all abortion, contraception, and divorce to prevent such incidents in the future.
7) This is the final step. In this step the perpetrator is a white male that may or may not be a Christian. In these cases (which are the majority) the only possible explanation is mental illness. In these cases it is way too soon to discuss doing anything! After all we cannot overreact to these situations by passing EXTREME new laws! The only option is to turn to prayer and realize that we are helpless to prevent further similar incidents. After some time for prayer and reflection, the only reasonable possible solution is to arm every man, woman, and child with large caliber firearms and mandate open carry at all times.
Please follow the above algorithm at all times to insure a productive, reality based discussion of gun violence in America on the boards. That is all.

This is amazing. Thoughts and prayers should be somewhere in here but other than that it shows how white folks with money start spinning to maintain their power and control. None of this is wrong. We should ask ourselves why there are talking points like this every time a mass shooting happens instead of action designed to stop those mass shootings.

This is very interesting. I live in a major city that is armed to the teeth. Everyday, people interact all throughout the city, and countless interactions with CC permit folks who are practicing their permitted right. This city is VERY safe considering its size and population. Most violence on the nightly news, is domestic.

The more people who have guns the more people that will use guns. The only common sense solution is to make it harder to get guns and to get rid of guns that serve zero purpose for civilians like semi-automatics which are the go to for mass shootings, thus the full rights of the second amendment are maintained and we make america a safer place. And yes there are plenty of people in this world who would pull a gun on someone simply for getting in a little fight. You see the recent incident where some guy shot and murdered someone who pushed him over? Granted the other guy shouldn't have pushed him in the first place, but because this guy had a gun, he escalated a push to a murder. As soon as he hit the ground he pulled his gun and even as the pusher moved a few steps back from him he still shot the guy in cold blood. That is what happens when people have guns, they use them.
