Your teammate's mother is getting flustered up about that?
I've done more crazy things at college and I am 100% CERTAIN that people attack my character. Even my ex-best friend would start bullying and intimidating me when he realized that I wouldn't be a normal, frat-boy type at college.
A few weeks after I did some ambiguous act that got the attention of thousands of people, I was in the dining common and one of the student workers looked at me with wide, horror-filled eyes. It was like she was so scared to serve me a sandwich.
FYI, I used to work in the dining common too at that same college.
Anyways, some people like my stunts, others don't. To me, as long as SOMEONE ELSE gets it, then I am happy because I am not alone.
When I was a senior at college, some guy asked me if I was that guy who did that thing a long time ago. He gave me a handshake.
Who cares if most people don't get your jokes. You don't have to please them all. And you don't have to keep visiting that old scenario.
In the end what matters is karma. You can have dark jokes in bad taste, but never try to hurt someone intentionally.
