That's actually a very large lot, by Silicon Valley standards. No one cares about that house, they'll raze it and build something nice.
For what it's worth, I live in the area and, yes, it's a tear-down. That house is surrounded by $4-6 million homes. Expensive neighborhood in expensive, upscale Silicon Valley town (Los Gatos) and location, location, location: within walking distance of downtown Los Gatos, the high school and the trails behind downtown. Decent sized lot, but main issue will be how much buildable land it has, how dark the lot is (due to hills/tree cover) and whether there are any views out towards the valley.

Not bad. I forwarded that listing to my investor friend. He and his family already bought several lots like this in the area and in SF. Such a good investment.
