It’s gotten to the point these days on this forum that when someone makes a point and then people make fun of that point the original poster gets butthurt. Truly a sad story for letsrun
You are so insightful..your comments do nothing but disparage the S/SE Region . Which already has a huge uphill battle in credibility. You think people on this forum would embrace a positive comment about one of their own or a team doing well. Instead they feel the need to tear it down.. My advice instead of writing how Im butt hurt why dont you try and ad something positive to the forum.
Keep the thread going; it's interesting to us old people.
Prenats this weekend. Rhodes, Emory, CNU, W&L, and Bridgewater will all be attending. Time to put the rankings to bed—first inter-region rumble for a lot of these teams!
Emory is lookin pretty spicy tho. Rankings are bullshit. About to see some big times from some boys with tight bods
ClapClapClap??? WashU is going to win the UAA easily. My son has been telling me great things about the WashU team. My son told me they have a 7sec spread, all fast, of course.
Wrong part of town
Updates?
Rhodes won, emory second, WL below, CNU even farther below. Berea no where to be seen
Berea went to the Berry Invite and won by 54 points averaging 26:12. Looked like their 1 and 2 ran just hard enough to win.
Whoever does ranking for South/SE region didn't do themselves any favors by knocking Berea out/down so far and obviously didn't look at the results from the Berry meet (on the regional course). Still think Rhodes will win it but Berea will scare them. They are stronger than I want to give them credit for. I know that in most years (and maybe this year too), it sounds stupid to say this but the South/SE region should get two at-large bids. I can't believe I just said that out loud. If Berea takes 3rd at regionals and doesn't get an at-large, the individual auto's will go mostly to Berea (for sure their top 2)
I like Bereauitos but not Berea wrote:

Haha what two at larges? Maybe 1 at large if Emory is third and can beat case western and NYU at UAAs. Who else, W&L and CNU showed they weren’t worthy at pre nats and lynchburg lost to the top 10 Atlantic teams and most of the top 10 in the Mideast. If Berea would have run everyone in the same race at Louisville they prob would have beat Depauw and had a better shot at an at large. Same mistake cost Platteville from going as a team two years ago.
Predictions:
1) Mackenzie - Berea
2) Freyaldenhoven - Rhodes
3) Gibson - Mary Wash.
4) Fields - Rhodes
5) Carson - Berea
6) Voehler - Rhodes
7) Hiegel - Bridgewater
8) Hearn - Rhodes
9) Lightbody - CNU
10) Torres - Emory
11) Edwards - CNU
12) Whetstone - Emory
13) Dolwick - W&L
14) Patrick - W&L
15) McGaw - CNU
Rhodes wins, Emory second. If Emory somehow doesn't clinch second, they'll get an at-large. Otherwise, the South only takes two. Take that to the bank and deposit it.
So, because Fields has had a slow start, Hiegel falls behind Carson and Voehler? And Patrick all the way down to 14? I get he didn't peak for pre-nats but didn't you see the conference results?
I believe the top two spots are a lock with Rhodes and Emory. There will most likely be a fight for the 4-6 positions. Berea has a solid 1-2 but their number's 3-5 are too far back for a solid team. Next year will be Emory's year for the win and I am confident on this. They have a nice recruiting class that should fit in nicely as well as a super senior or two I believe next year.

Does it really matter? All of these teams suck and will be a laughingstock at Nationals.
How many All Americans out of this region?
2-3 for the women. 3-4 for the men.
Emory will get 2nd in the region unless the libs have their way.......
