Well, then that's their fault. You need to do this correctly. You need to do the crunch using ONLY your abs. If you are using your neck muscles, or bending your neck then you aren't doing them correctly. Crunches are a targeted exercise that work only if you use the targeted muscles only. Again, diet and exercise are more important than the exercise. And also again, you only do 200 MAX of these crunches just 2-3 times per week. If you EVER tweak something, chill out for a while. It's not an exercise that will cause problems if you do it correctly and only 2-3 times per week like I said.
