The rankings don’t mean anything in selection. St Lawrence has beaten more out of region teams in past years and that is why they got bids. This year they have beaten the 5th place Great Lakes and 5th place Mideast teams. New England will get 5 teams, 6 could be possible depending on order at regionals.
