OP sounds like one of the nasty ones, but there was a study (I’d link it but almost time to get to work) that showed that patient satisfaction with an MD was related to increase in mortality (happy patient when he gets the meds/treatment/advice he wants, but not necessarily what he needs).
As long as OP gets the job done, then I don’t have a real issue with his attitude. He’d suck in primary care or endocrinology but if he’s got good hands, I guess you can forgive his crap attitude.
