It's time again
wtf is up w leagues being at bucknell? do they have an actual course? it should be at lehigh every year.
The course is on the West Fields and the Golf Course, very smooth and nice course. Should produce some fast times. Very easy to get around for people cheering too.
Bucknell going for the win this year. Peter Murray returning with his 5th year eligibility.
Early predictions
1-Army
2-Navy
3-Boston U
4-Lehigh
5-Bucknell
6-American
7-Holy Cross
8-Lafayette
9-Loyola
10-Colgate
Boston U could potentially challenge for one of the top two spots if they really put the work in. Besides American, I don't see any chance that the bottom half of the league does any displacing , so it will probably be two little 5 team meets.
Lehigh women over Bucknell for the title.
The real question is who is going to win those academic awards.
school kids on XC honor roll/ kids on roster Avg GPA standard deviation
Boston U 11/14 3.47 0.26
laffyette 9/12 3.68 0.20
American 11/15 3.58 0.15
Bucknell 19/26 3.58 0.25
Holy Cross 10/15 3.58 0.18
Navy 15/23 3.75 0.24
Colgate 11/17 3.69 0.22
Lehigh 15/24 3.67 0.26
Army 10/30 3.48 0.29
Loyola 8/11 (they are easily the lowest ranked school and don't really match the rest of the league) 3.70 0.25

Why would you say something so controversial yet so brave?
who are the 5th years?
Because the Bucknell course doesn’t have banked turns
Bucknell's women have peaked. Outdoor was just the start...how far will they fall?
Where are these teams going to be ranked in their regions? There was a close battle last year in the Northeast

Heard Bucknell women have been running 100 miles a week this summer to get back to their winning ways.
who even is the bucknell men's top 5 this year huh

Dorflinger- 14:18 and 5k champ two years ago indoors, 17th and 18th past two years at XC
Stupak- 4:06 mile last year indoors, 19th and 22nd past two years at XC
McMenamin- 20th last year XC, 2nd in the steeple (9:09)
next two are probably Siciliano (28th last year) and Sussman (28th, 35th last two years) based off of XC, but neither have very good track times.
classic battle with lehigh for 4th?

American is going to be a contender. Returners:
Rainey - 10th last year, 3:45 PR in 1500,
Doiron - 14th last year, 24:26 PR
Purdy - 24th last year, 24:50 PR. Looks like he just has XC eligibility, so mileage should be higher than in past as 800 specialist. Look for him to be top 10 - NY state champ in 1k, All american 7th in 2k steeplechase so has aerobic capabilities
Sommer - 25:13 PR
etc. etc.
Graham has been pushing them very hard, they are hitting massive mileage. should beat lehigh and bucknell, good shot at BU. Army and navy might be too strong but American having 3 in the top 10 can put them in contention.

Kevin Donner is on a mission, he will run them all to the brink of stress fractures just to win again.
Bucknell is in the middle of nowhere, Donner's only recruiting pitch is "We win everything" so he HAS to win.
They will put 4 in the top 5 at PL or injure their entire top 7 trying.
