Today in Roxbury America continued its well honed tradition of sit and kick 1500 meter races. In fact, even the crowd is programmed for this strategy, as no one even watched until the last 200. At which point they all stopped chatting it up to one another about this stupid message board and actually watched the race. Alan Webb was a non factor looking like the weight of the universe was crushing his chest. Ryan Bak, made a very respectable move with 200 to go, and should be commended for T-R-Y-I-N-G. Lunn and Stember got the job done, but, with much less panaché then, lets say, Stembers high school milrose mile win, where he actually got the crowd excited. After the race, Stember, who was second and congratulated himself a lot, held hands with Lunn on a cool down lap. IT was special.
Splits, 31-61.2-2:01.7-3:01.4-3:42.2 for the win.
everyone ran 44 basically, and that is all. IT was boring, it was tedious, and no one cared at all. With love from Reggie.
