Excuse me guys, but why do you think some young athlete like Jacob, who has his father as coach, the older brother (Henrik)
n. 5 in London Olympics and European Champion of 1500m in 2012, and another brother (Filip) European Champion 2016 and bronze medal in WCh 2017 in 1500m, can be interested to change from an IDEAL situation to a WORSE situation, since his passion and the organization of the family mainly regards athletics ?
It's very difficult to become a top champion if you are with a scholarship in the College, because you can't do technical choices directly connected with a strategy for growing, but you have the MUST to compete in every competition interesting your college, and can't develop any strategy looking at the future.
Athletes at that level already trains twice per day, dedicating 4-5 hours every day to their training, with the goal to build up all the qualities that are important in order to become top runners of international level. A SERIOUS frequentation in a school can disturb the project, and for that reason the best solution is to continue the education in private way.
