Coming from somebody outside of the AR. Why does everyone think RIT is trash if they've finished third two years in a row now?

RIT is trash u little sh!t
Pretty crazy how SLU has 3 of the top 7 individuals not on natty teams but they still got 6th
RPI got the lowest team score out of any regional championship with 26 points(NCC was 2nd with 30 points), should be ranked 2nd in the country going into Nationals imo
Just goes to show that you need a 4 and 5 to do well in a big race.
The region officially takes 4

Not surprising. Brockport, SLU, Ithaca, and co are trash.
The only surprising part is that RIT made it. I would have figure that USTFCCCA would have issued a ban against RIT and taken just Geneseo, RPI, and Oneonta.
Predictions for Nationals:
RPI: 6th
Geneseo: 12th
RIT: 22nd
Oneonta: 25th
Individuals:
Hunter Phinney: 50th-75th
Dadley Ogetii: 50th-75th
Nicholas Vielhauer: 50th-75th
Chris Singer: 75th-125th
Patrick Mortensen:75th-125th
Matt Russo:75th-125th
Ben Haderle:75th-125th
.
Ithaca assistant coach Matt Herbert took 2nd place at the Syracuse Half Marathon yesterday running 1:07:13, fastest coach in the region? http://leonetiming.com/2018/Roads/SyracuseHalfNet.htm

Thanks for checking in, Matt! Too bad your team is garbage. Sweet time, nonetheless

Top 3 were all alumni of SUNY Geneseo. Think they're still being coached by Dan Moore? Those are very solid times, especially for that course. Fairly hilly and that race rarely has good weather.
See my name.... it was a good day, who care if the weather has been poor in the past. That doesn't effect their times.

Did take the time to look at the weather, but now that I did it looks like it was 32 degrees with an 8mph wind and lightly snowing. Not sure if I'd call that a "good day" but certainly not as miserable as I know that race has been in the past!
From the teams that qualified I'm predicting McAneny (Geneseo), both O'Connors (RPI), Otto (RIT) and McDonald (Stoneonta) get all american honors
Everyone that qualified individually is going to All American

Too many. Grant and Otto are the only two who I'd say have a shot.
Also, let's stop this stupid "posting as someone's name" thing as well as thinking that anyone who posts about a particular runner is someone posting about themselves. It's getting old.

Regional Race Summary:
1. RPI lives up to their hype
2. Geneseo disappoints
3. RIT is trash
4. Oneonta is mediocre
5. Not enough hype for Brockport, not good enough for natis tho
6. SLU gets deported back to Canada. Maybe they'll make nationals there
7. F*ck Ithaca
8. Rowan cant even do well on their home course, which sucks. Lets never run there again
9. NYU sucks
10. Rochester's mascot is a bumblebee
Rochester's mascot is actually a yellow jacket, not a bumblebee. We can't be mixing up our Hymenoptera here!
