I'd rather be where I'm at now, with 2 good jobs and going to be married soon. At 25, I was living in a middle-of-nowhere job for a local weekly paper making 28k. I regret not leaving the paper faster and lost a ton of earning potential in my 20s, naively thinking if I stuck it out at that paper I'd move up. I was there 8 years and only went from 25k in 2006 to 30k in 2014.
Lesson--don't stay at a job too long, and don't lose your 20s to bad career choices.
