This thread is proof that Letsrun is populated by people who choose not to run, are too injured to run, are too big or too embarrassed to run after once being decent. Just being honest here.
I would bet that only 20% or less actually race or train for anything.
5'8".
125 in college. Fattening up nicely to 160 after taking over a year off of running. Was usually around 135-40 when racing.
Yeah i have got big wrote:

Let me make you feel a little better.
After school: 5'11 and 155 pounds (age 22)
Now: Age 44 and 259 pounds.
When I was ~230 pounds a couple of years ago I ran a marathon in the 340s. Not great, but I could manage. The next 30 pounds totally destroyed me. It would be an all out effort to crack 30 minutes for 5k ( and I did back in February). Now I just hike a lot and trying the "low carb" diet. I'd be happy at 175.

5'8 and 119 pounds? I'm sorry, but this is underweight and frankly unhealthy.
This thread is proof that some people need to quit running and hit the gym instead.
Congratulation all! These are really healthy numbers.
Male - in case anybody is confused. College 145 - 150 lb, now (age 45) - same weight. Upon graduation (age 25) ran St. George in 2:39:48 (1998). Life time best in St. George - 2:23:57 (2007). Last marathon - Top of Utah 2:46:16 (September 2017). St. George would have been probably around 2:42 with the same quality of performance. Weight remained the same throughout the years. I should note that I can go down to as low as 140 at the end of a hard long run on a warm day, and as high as 154 after eating several good meals and drinking a lot of (healthy just to be clear) liquids.
So this goes to show that weight is only a relatively small part of the equation.
6'1" in college and now. 155 up to 165 and back down again in college.
Now 52 and 165 to 170.
male 5'8" 130 in college.
now, still 5'8" and 130 at age 68. (running an average of 40mpw last year and so far this year)
Height 5'10"
During college and running at a D1 program - 140-145
Age 40 155
Age 58 208 Can still run some but not much distance. I do bicycle a lot during the summer months.
Age 30. I gained 5llbs during 4 years of college. Have gained 10 Llbs since end of college. Still too skinny. Trying to lift at gym frequently now. I know I'll have abundant attention from women if I gain another 25 Llbs. But gaining another 5-10 seems more manageable and I'm cool with that. I'm 6 feet 145 right now.
College
5"11 143lbs
Now
5"11 168lbs (but not fat...I got into martial arts style training, cycling, yoga, etc..)
About 144 beginning of college but low-mid 150s for most, I was 5'10 to start, then 5'11"; now I am 5'9+" and 131 in my 60s, still run as far as 10 miles (but much slower ~3min/mile), but ride more than run, and lift some. Began racing (running then bike) in grad school took my weight down from 154 to 137 over the years competing, went up to mid-140s, then declined 0.5-1.0 per year until started lifting. My %Fat was 5% while competing, and stayed under 10% until it climbed slightly above.
As a college runner (age 20--permanently injured before turning 21): 148# at 6-3ish.
Now (age 66): ~155# at 6-2ish (resisting measuring my height). My cardiologist told me to stay in the 150s--doesn't want me to go lower, though I could drop another 10-12 easily.
After several years of late fatherhood and my first year of law school, I weighed somewhere close to 230 at age 49. [NOTE to those becoming parents and/or going to law school: More eating does not make up for a lack of sleep.] I had gotten back down around 190 when I had a little heart attack 5+ years ago. Dropped the rest of the weight in a few months (motivation is key) and have stayed in the 150s since.
I generally walk between 70 and 90km per week now and walked (not racewalked) a marathon race last year in 5:3x--within a couple hours of my "running" times BITD.
College: 6' 0.5" 147-150
Now: mid-50s 187-192
5'9"
145ish in college. Maybe as low as 140.
Now a 6 years down the road between 130-135 depending on where I'm at with my training.
Height 5'7"
College: 132
Now (age 50-something): 190
Don't run anymore but still eat and drink beer like I'm putting in 80/week.
Age 28. Closer to 6'3 than 6'2
In college, when I ran my personal bests, I was under 145. Maybe 143 at my lowest racing weight. (15:03 5k)
I probably weigh about 155-160 or so right now. Still run and compete, but not as much for both. Weight has fluctuated from 148 to 165 over the last year.
Pizza and Beer my friends. I haven't really stopped running, but bad habits and a slowing metabolism has pushed my most recent 5k north of the 17 min barrier and I was 157 last week.
5'10"
started college - 135
left college - 145 (I did not run in college.)
now (age 67) - 130
I didn't weigh in college and I don't weigh now.
I think a doctor told me I was 155 about 5 years ago . 5'11"
