how many of these would pass a dope test?

Aouita vs Crammy Nice 85.
Not an obvious choice, but I remember watching as a schoolboy and thinking how amazing it was that an inferior talent (Aouita) could get so close to such a superior natural great as Cram, simply through doping. It was a real inspiration and eye opener for us Moroccan boys. Remember, they were the same age, and yet only 3 years before this Crammy was about 2 seconds a lap faster than Aouita.
So you're saying that a CLEAN Cram beats a doped Aouita? Ergo, dope doesn't work too well or Cram is juiced. Fact is Cram has selectively supported violators of doping rules and has a generally myopic (partisan) view of doping.

Well, the guy who fell there was ranked as the most suspicious one on IAAF's most likely doping list. Well ahead of Kiprop, Keitany, Farah and Rupp.

Ooohhh man so many good ones. Great thread.
el G's 1999 1500 final is my favorite. 3:27 with the guitar playing, finishing well ahead of Noah "car accident" Ngeny and a trio of Spaniards (lol!!!).
Ramzi's 1500 & 800 double at '05 Worlds was glorious. He almost got caught at the line in the 15, but his 800 was a work of tactical genius. Can't forget his lane 7 drift in the 1500 heats either.
"18-year-old" Kipchoge beating el G in '03, squeezing him right up against the kerb.
Ethiopian women's world records in the 1500, 5000, and 10000. Literally unbelievable.
Bolt's '09 double (triple? I assume he was in the winning relay too) was comical.
Any recent marathon with the "random" 2:04 African guys.
There are tons more I'll think of later.
Anything by an American sprinter.

Don't know, but they are nice looking girls nonetheless.

Are you saying that it´s impossible for a clean athlete to beat a doped athlete? All right. I will start doping myself and from then anyone who beats me is obviously a cheater.
How about Wilson Kipketer's at the wc's where he broke the wr not once but also in the prelims. He beat the next guy by over 2 sec's. How is that even possible clean?
Kazankina 3.52 several decades before Dibaba. And no moustache either.

You obviously have much to learn.
Good one. Was never anywhere near it before or after...
can't believe Daniel Komen only shows up once in this thread. Gotta throw his 7:20 3k up there....its actually laughable. The commentators are in disbelief

exactly.
I’d say probably every race Jarmila Kratochvílová has ever run. Makes male sprinters look like little girls.
For me, the most memorable doped performance is Komen's 2k WR. Maybe second is Ngeny's Oly 1500 win, as Noah was feeling confident, like Lagat, in being able to dope without worrying about officials, since the E. Africans knew the officials for the most part were going to let them get away with it. El G, who was more talented, was also doped, but had to be controlled in his usage, not being part of the crowd enjoying political protection which for the most part continues to this day.

Well, when you're simply better than everyone it's possible. And Wilson did say the indoor track seemed faster than an outdoor track. Flip side is that once Wilson seemed to get stuck at 1:42 high, he hit the needle. His "malaria" symptoms never matched those of most people with malaria, but the flu-like symptoms sure did match those of people having drug reactions to steroids, EPO, and other drugs. I hope Kipketer was clean but it's doubtful.

Maybe because he's never been bagged for dope?
Kimetto’s 2:02:57, will stand for years
I don't remember what meet it was but I remember watching Regina Jacobs dominate a race indoors in Boston on TV. I was like 13 and knew something was fishy.

Oh yes he has:
https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/bad-steak-doping-defence-is-rejected-1.53429"Also, under the microscope is Kenya's Daniel Komen, the 3,000m world record holder who allegedly twice tested positive for excessive levels of caffeine last year. The IAAF has opened further investigation to determine whether the positive levels were due to Komen's metabolism and no further action is expected."
