weldon, god bless you brother but you POSTED THE SPLITS! look at them and see for yourself, he went straight up front, didn't slack off the 3rd lap, then blitzed almost hte fastest final lap, save for some kickers who dogged the 3rd lap bigtime. Plain and simple, he ran with balls and most everyone else didn't (and went home devastated, haha).

Ingebrigtsen's pr before today was 3:39.92. So in a slow race, he not only PRd but he blew away the field the final lap and he's only 17.

Surprised they only ran 3:39.92 but I'm so damn impressed that he won by that much. Indoor he ran 3:40.3 this year but did nothing to indicate he'd crush this field. On our podcast today I figured he could run fast but had no chance of winning.

Rojo, he sat in the back first lap, started moving up second lap as Chelimo fell behind pacers . (44.8, 58.8,) then the field slowed up and he pushed his way to the lead with 600 to go and kept it as Chelimo and Jenkins pushed up around the outside (third lap was a 60 flat, 61 for Chelimo so thats where he made up the time), then Inge kept inside lane 1 reminiscent of Centro 2016 Oly, covered the surges from Chelimo + Jenkins on his outside and surged hard with 200 to go and dropped em. Maintained down the last 100m and won easy, crazy race. (55.5 last lap!!)

I can't speak for that guy but it's the information fast that I like not the format in which I get it

I did sort of expect Henrik to win the 5000, but really thought Jenkins was going to take the 1500. Holy 17 year olds Batman!

I'm using a computer, when you don't know if or when someone is doing a play by play it is fairly reliable to get lap splits and see who's moved up or down. I'm not going to subscribe to anything when there is really just one or two races I'm interested in. So anyway I can follow the race and see what's transpiring, it self refreshes and not only see who won, but the other places quickly follow. This is what are sport has come down to: Scrounging for any information/video we can because much is behind a paywall and circular firing squads over doping on the boards.

was my coverage adequate tho?
