Hi everyone I'm really new to this site and track and field overall and needed some help in clarifying a few things. As of this year I was not able to participate in track due to some afterschool classes, however as the school year ends and my time finally frees up, I have become more interested in pursuing track. It is too late for me too join my team now, so I will pretty much just train by myself until next year. In terms of questions I've heard somethings about waiting to reach 'peak' condition so does that mean I should postpone on trying to do things like sprint drills, etc., until the next year. And secondly seeing as I only have about 1hr and 30 min to devote on the weekdays ( 30 in the morning and an 1hr at night) plus about 2-3hrs on Saturday, how would you guys train,, also including things like nutrition, workouts, etc. Also, should have mentioned this but my desired events are the 100, 200 and the 400.
