I thought Knight was the next big thing. The superstar. What happened?
Knight is now 7th all time on NCAA 1500m list. How high on the list do you expect him to be? He is a 5000m/10000m guy.
Olympic/WC 1500m medalists like Centro, Manzano, Lagat... did not run as fast as Knight during their NCAA career.
Other distance NCAA all time greats such as Ches, Lalang... also never ran that fast while in College.
lol. Here come the Knight apologists. Clearly, by the way you people put Knight on a throne and threw all kinds of hyperbole around when talking about him, he should be 1st on the NCAA 1500 list by a wide margin.
Knight is a 1500/5000 guy. He's run many more 1500's than 10000s. The other guys just didn't have a monster like Kerr to pull them to a 3:36
Not a Knight fan or hater, hater if anything because I’ve never rooted for him in a race
However I don’t see how him running 3:36 is bad, like above 7th fastest ever and he is more of an endurance guy clearly.... you’re seriously just trying to hate, bet he could get down to 3:35 with better pacing as well
