Good for you. Want a cookie or a ribbon?

The OP is a huge puzzy. It was cold, about 40 degrees. But it's not nearly as humid as Boston. And it was a very light rain, not a downpour.
and Trump pulls the isolationism card by pulling out of the Paris global summit accord. Oh well the temperature is nice and toasty here in Australia! it's autumn no rain, hot and yea love seeing warming trend continue but the funny thing is that this was very similar to the last El Nino. Oh you poor trump supporters. Pray for the northeast, midwest, and for Hawaii.

Yes and we can assume the OP is not a PROFESSIONAL RUNNER.
Shameful to be so underprepared for uncomfortable conditions as someone who gets paid to run.

Your city? Ha! You’re probably one of those giddy douche bags that drive around with a “Native” sticker on your vehicle. Are you also a cyclist? I thought so.
No native sticker for me, that crap is played out and just ridiculous. But seriously, gtfo of here. We don't need more hickass hillbillies from the south. At least learn how to assimilate if you're going to be a total douchebag.
Gtfo? Nah I’m quite comfortable here, thank you. I have no intention of leaving for years. Don’t like hillbillies from the south? Too damn bad. I’ll continue leaving a thick cloud of diesel smoke behind me everywhere I drive and flying the American flag at my house as it gives me great pleasure knowing how much that pisses you off.

Hey, 11 miles at his 9 minute pace is almost as long as Rupp's 20 miles at sub 5:00 pace.
Good work. Similar conditions in Boulder this morning (colder, no wind though) and my 9 year old is suiting up play soccer for 90 minutes.

Sorry to hear about your little d*ck, but I'm sure your douchebag truck makes you feel better.
Btw, no one cares you ran 11 miles in bad weather. You're nothing special.

God Bless ya brother for raising your kiddo the right way. Too many soft parents out there raising soft kids. Yours won’t be one of them. And kudos to her for having the fortitude to get out in these conditions and just embrace it.
My 5 year old and I went out to sled this morning and got soaked due to the unusually wet snow. It became more of a mud sled than it was snow but we had a blast. I’m about to hit my long run but conditions not bad today like I thought they would be. It’s 40 and a little windy, just snow melt slush.

A real hillbilly would fly the Confederate flag, at home and everywhere else.
Once again, all your boys think that you could hack it at Ranger School.

You'd stand a better chance naked in rain and 32 degrees, than rain and 32 degrees in soaked cotton clothing. Sorry, but it's true.
Actually that is completely wrong. Soaked clothing still retains heat and blocks wind. You would be far worse naked.
In Boston the winds were gusting 25-35 in your face. It was anywhere from light to medium rain to full on downpour and sometimes hail.

and I didn't get hypothermia. I put in a solid 11 miles. Cold as heck but not the end of the world. I'm 6'4" and 157 lbs, no meat on these bones so I can't use the "I've just got more muscle mass" excuse.
This can only mean that I'm tougher than Gaylen Rupp and all those that dropped out of the Boston Marathon. Some people just can't cut it. Oorah!
I know I am feeding you, but I will bite anyway. There is a point where your body just is not generating enough heat to counteract the environment. 39 degrees is so much the problem, wet and wind compound the problem. The problem is further exacerbated by wearing a racing kit and having an extremely low BMI. Also, "Cold air also causes your airways to produce a substance called histamine, which is the same chemical your body makes during an allergy attack." Most elites only run 2 marathons a year, there is an enormous amount of preparation and anticipation. You spend months burning through money in the build-up, the race is where you get some of the money back...elites don't easily give up on their goals.
Btw, at 6-4 157 lbs, you are quite lean, even leaner than an elite marathoner.
I know this a troll but I figured I would at least say it wasn’t 18 mph wind our downlouring here on 4/20 I ran 10 miles and at most was a slight drizzle with some flakes and minimal wind. Also I Colorado Springs has zero humidity it’s not even cold here when it is 33 degrees out.
This is wrong on so many levels.
