Richards, who only ran 2:05.28 indoors, ran 2:02.84 this weekend at Arizona State to set the NCAA leader and she's D III.
Last year, she ran 2:01.74 at USAs after running only after only running 2:08.83 indoors.

She needs to be added to the Bowerman Watch List. She's doing things very few have ever accomplished in D3 and she'd be competitive at any level.

In 2004, Andrew Rock went all the way from DIII to a gold medal in Athens.
Ran 44.66 at the Jim Bust USATF meet, 44.95 at the Olympic Trials to finish 6th and qualify for the relay, and 44.8 in the prelims of the 4x400m relay in Athens.
It's a shame his career didn't last longer, because he's the true GOAT. And a super nice dude as well. -
