How about you look at the employers equity statement on their website and simply restate the main principals in your own words.
Assuming you are committed to respecting the work and professional opinions of your coworkers regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race and range of ability or disability, and working to advance the interests of the employer then you are actively supporting diversity.
I look for people who can fit in and get along with a wide range of people. Nothing complicated about that. I just hired a 62 year old white guy to work for a much younger female manager with a different ethnic background and everyone is making money at a job they are qualified to do and are happy. It’s not a trap, employers simply do better when they hire people who aspire to treat each other well and behave with dignity.
