Correct. Potential injury for Hasay aside, the real question we should be asking is whether or not this is good for their Boston chances. From what I heard in Houston, Hasay was downplaying the AR, pointing at Boston as the bigger goal. Meanwhile all we heard from Molly Huddle was that she was going to break the AR. Is Molly peaking too soon for these shorter races, potentially hurting her chances for a strong Boston showing? If Hasay pulling out of the World Half is not an injury (maybe they caught "wind" of the potentially horrible conditions expected???), I like Hasay's approach better. Boston is the big goal. Go into these shorter races with a "I hope to run well but we'll just see how I feel" mindset, rather than "I'm going to go after that AR and really race hard". My $$ is on Hasay in Boston.
