Men won the DMR, women third and Pocratsky through in the 800. Must be doing something right.

Curious to know what kind of training Virgina Tech does, seem to perform well in the 800-mile.

He could always coach. He coached Mary Jane Harrelson to back to back 1500 titles bCk in the day.
My impression of him in the early 2000s was too much speed, intervals and plyos type stuff and the training was missing something and then at a certain point it frigging worked. Now they’re insane.
Besides Oregon, it’s probably the no1 co-ed middle distance program. -
Whats their training like? Clearly the coach is doing something right!
