I didn’t see if someone already mentioned this, but according to his Twitter Chris Derrick is pulling out due to an injury. It’s a shame, he can really roll on the grass.

Unless it's ankle deep mud, it's not an actual XC course
Agree 100%. Holyrood Park is a real XC course. Ask the Europeans what they think of XC in the USA.

That fuggin guy...
USATF article seems to confirm that Hasay is running, although she still does not appear on the entries list.
America has cross country? Is it tough like British XC? Or lame?
I haven't been to the course, but Tallahassee is full of steep hills, so I can't imagine it is that flat.
And in Florida, you wouldn't have grass everywhere, you'd have sand. The tough part of a xc course here is the sand but up north you have the hills as well. I think that this course should be very nice because a few pennies from football revenue spilled over to xc and they paid for course improvements and an actual scoreboard, as I understand.
Hasay is NOT running. She never planned to run. Don't know how this information that she was running got released in the first place.

It was a crazy thing called the NOP official Twitter account:

This is what the USATF are saying on their page
http://www.usatf.org/News/Olympians-set-to-clash-at-USATF-Cross-Country-Cham.aspxShe just announced on Twitter that she's dropping out.
No @usatf USATF XC for me tomorrow. Opted for a hard week of marathon training instead! Prep going well for @jhboston26. Can’t wait to watch and wishing everyone luck tomorrow! ?? @OregonPJT @NikeRunning— Jordan Hasay (@JordanHasay) February 3, 2018

REAL reason -----> He doesn't want Rupp to beat him again.

Rupp's going to mow the lawn with those Army/WCAP/ADP guys, just like he always does.
Clearly you did not watch the 10k at last summer's US championship.
It's a xc race not a track race ....buddy...
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
