What were her times?
2:49 and 4:42.. not sure about the 600 but the winner ran 1:35. Clearly a workout for her.
Astonishing that a 5000m runner isn't also incredibly dominant in a sprint event.

3 races in one day (I guess). But 1:36 is still pretty slow for a girl with her 1500m PB. She is definitely not a miler. Nothing wrong with that.

Totally right. She won the 1000m and the 1500m but the distance furthest from the mile is the one that dictates what she's good at.
Smart.
I laughed way too hard at this.
More likely just tired of leading, and looking for a workout.
Don't underestimate her speed-side capability.

Lol just wait until she breaks 4:40 at Millrose.
Imagine being a HS girl like her, possibly soon-to-be the best ever HS girl to date, and getting heckled like this any time she jogs some indoor races.
Could we please change the title of the thread to TUOHY GOES HOME DEVASTATED!! ?
Well those are the distances a future 5000m star should dominate at her age. Not the 5000. Work in speed now. This will only get more difficult later on

4:40? We’re gonna see like a 4:32.
How pi**** would you be if you were a girl of her caliber and people give you sh** for losing a random 600 at the county championships in the middle of a triple with literally no rest in between....
4:42 was perhaps a bit excessive if winning three events was her primary goal. As a workout, a fast 1600 followed by an uncomfortably anaerobic 600 on short rest seems like a good idea.

I don't think you know what literally means.
