The greatest GOAT: Tom Brady or Michal Jordan

No question Jordan. Seriously? Brady is a quarterback- he's not blocking the monsters coming at him. He's not catching the passes he throws when some roid monster wants to tear him in half with his tackle.

I'm not saying he was the better athlete but neither of those guys reached anything close to wayne's level of dominance in their respective sport

What a joke, Brady is a lousy athlete, part of a great team, with a mastermind coach.

Jordan played both offense and defense, Brady is only on the field for half the game, no contest. Michael by a mile.

Brady is not in the top 10,000+ actual athletes to ever play football, from an athletic standpoint.

The greatest GOAT is clearly Wayne Gretzky - and it's not even close.

Brady doesn't even have all the moves that most quarterbacks possess, like a running game or long ball. He relies on pocket protection, otherwise he's toast.

Jordan mastered every facet of the game of basketball, everything on offense and defense. Everyone tries to copy him and steal his moves (Kobe etc). Nobody tries to copy Brady.

I've seen people on stilts with more agility & quickness than Brady has. Also, I'm not sure he could even run 100 yards at anything more than a slow jog.

You have that right. How can someone who has handled a football probably over 100,000 times in his playing career and during practice know that his balls weren't deflated?? Just this fact alone makes his character suspect.

There's a difference between blatantly cheating (both personally and the team as a whole) and getting the benefit of the doubt on some calls. It's just the way it is in professional sports. I'm from NY and f'ing hate Jordan, he still gives me nightmares, but he wasn't a scumbag cheater like Brady. (well yes, he was a scumbag and cheated on his wife, but didn't cheat the game)

We aren't talking about most athletic. That award easily goes to LeBron. We are talking about most dominant. Every bench warmer in the NBA is more athletic than Tiger Woods. Brady is right up there with Jordan. Anyone who thinks otherwise is uninformed. Many people said the same crap about Jordan while he was playing. "Oh yeah, Jordan is good, but he's only dominant is this soft league and would never match up against Wilt, Kareem and Russell."

Tom benefits from a system that frankly, would make a number of good quarterbacks all time great quarterbacks. Plug in almost any decent possession receiver and you are an automatic all star receiver .

MJ took a not so good Chicago team and made them a playoff team almost by himself.

Tom is great in the NE system, and fits perfectly into their game plan. MJ without the two years of baseball would be the all time scoring leader and have padded his other great stats, including another championship.

There is no single person that's a GOAT of some silly team sport. That's ridiculous. Perhaps the team cold be GOAT but not an individual.

The GOAT individual must be in a mano a mano sport.

Some examples: A GOAT would be Roger Federer (tennis), Alexander Karelin (wrestling), Brzenk (arm wrestling)

Lance (cycling-road), or Bekele (5000 & 10000 meters)

Jordan played in a league with Hakeem, Shaq, David Robinson, Ewing etc. Anyone of those were athletic as Wilt, Kareem, Russell

That's my point. I agree with you, but tons of commentators and arm chair chair critics said that kind of stuff about Jordan. Now everyone is happy to say he was the best ever. In 20 years the same will be true about Brady.
