Hello,
I am running the McAllen Marathon this weekend in Texas, I have a best of 2:22:08 a few years back and have been running around 70-85 miles a week average of the last few years. Below is the last 6 weeks of my training leading up to the marathon on Sunday. My goal is to run sub 2:24, is that possible? I did a 20 mile HARD long run last weekend (Saturday). Before everyone asks why you doing a hard long run at that pace before the marathon 8 days out. I feel like it's something I did in the past and had success with it. Is a 2:24 or faster possible on the above and below workouts mentioned.
Thank you.
