LMAOOOO hahahahahaahahahaaha you are so wrong.
Bad things: oils, meats, dairy, eggs, soda
Why? Slower digestion > more insulin production > more fat stored
What do people need to eat?
1. Beans
2. Fruits
3. Starchy Vegetables
4. Non-starchy vegetables
5. Whole grains
What is the best meal ANYONE in America can eat regularly?
.5 can black beans, 1 sweet potato, 1/4 head of red cabbage, 2oz frozen berries, and 1/2 cup of brown rice
Let's total the calories up in this meal: .5 can = ~130; 1 sweet potato = 120; 1/4 head of cabbage = 20; 2 oz berries = 30; 1/2 cup of rice = 300. 130+120+20+30+300=600 for an incredibly filling, nutritious, and cheap meal.
Why is this meal so good?
Lots of fiber - This meal has so much fiber you will be nice and regular. Fiber helps with digestion, getting rid of cholesterol, binds to toxic byproducts of metabolism or respiration, and feeds good gut bacteria.
Lots of nutrients - This meal contains every essential amino acid and lots of them. It also contains every essential nutrient except for 2: vitamin B12 and vitamin D. As runners, we should be getting vitamin D through the sunshine, and I recommend all people take 5000mcg of vitamin B12 once weekly no matter what they eat. This meal as a lot of vitamin A for good organ protection and has lots of B vitamins necessary to be used as cofactors in metabolism and other functions.
Lots of antioxidants and phytochemicals - The orange and brown pigments in sweet potatoes, combined with the blue pigments from blueberries, combined with the purple pigments from red cabbage, combined with the black pigments from black beans makes the synergy of nutrients so much stronger. In isolation, the antioxidants and phytochemicals work well, but when combined they work even better.
Low amounts of toxic substances - There are not many pesticides in the plants once rinsed thoroughly. There are also not many toxic chemicals like heterocyclic amines, benzopyrines, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, or other deadly chemicals. One might argue about the arsenic in brown rice. If you really are worried about that, which you should not be, then you can switch the grain to quinoa, durum, or millet. The other toxic chemicals the plants produce to protect themselves are destroyed with thorough rinsing and cooking.
Lots of carbohydrates - essential for maintaining brain health, regenerating oxaloacetate to keep cellular metabolism working, and great for running, as us runners burn lots of carbohydrate. It is also great for sex drive and fertility as swimmers are fueled on carbs.
What is the worst meal someone can eat?
Anything contaminated with a deadly chemical like botulinum toxin or asbestos etc.
What is a terrible meal that Americans eat on a regular basis? Bacon cheeseburger with salted fries and a coke. It hits everything that is bad: Processed meats, red meats, dairy, oil, salt, and soda.
Why is bacon bad? It is a group 1a carcinogen. It causes colorectal cancer, as stated by the World Health Organization. It is loaded with nitrosamines, sodium, fat, and toxic organic chemicals which are fat soluble and slowly kill you. It has lots of cholesterol + saturated fat to raise your risk of heart disease, stroke, and dementia.
Why is cheese bad? It contains over 88 active, naturally occurring growth hormones heavily concentrated into one place. Like bacon, it has a lot of saturated fat and cholesterol to raise your risk of chronic disease.
Why are fries bad? Potatoes themselves are not bad, but when fried in oil, they become a problem. The frying part raises calories and changes the chemical structure of the potatoes so much that they lose all of the health benefits of potatoes. They slow digestion and blood flow, raise blood pressure, and contribute to an acidic organism.
Why are red meats bad? See "Why is bacon bad?"
Why is soda bad? It has been linked to a lot of chronic diseases, contains a lot of toxins like excess food colorings, added acids to preserve flavor, and has unnecessary refined carbohydrates to raise insulin on top of a terrible meal.
When combined into all, the fat coats insulin receptor cites of muscular cells inhibiting the absorption of insulin that the protein from meat and bacon make and the carbohydrates that the bun, cheese, condiments, french fries, and soda make. This leads to high blood sugar levels which leads to higher insulin levels and that is type-2 diabetes. Digestion is slowed so bad chemicals are shuttled from the stomach and large intestine into the blood stream and lymphatic system where they are deposited into fat and organ cells, causing a host of other problems. Saturated fat triggers the absorption of cholesterol into the blood stream which raises serum cholesterol and causes atherosclerosis.
