Meanwhile in the US, people feel like they should be bringing guns to church. I visit a sub on Reddit that has shooting videos and people constantly rag on Brazil, calling it a sh*t country and saying they'll never go there. But nobody was calling the US the same after Las Vegas. Americans are blind about this stuff.

USA: Total crimes: 11.88 million from 320+ million people
Give me citations for that and I'll pick apart the data.
It's like when people try to use data to prove that the UK has more violent crime than the US.
The Eighth United Nations Survey on Crime Trends and the Operations of Criminal Justice Systems (2002) (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Centre for International Crime Prevention).
See data in 2.1 from Sorted by variable.
Sweden actually finished 2nd place in Rate per 100,000 habitants, second only to Iceland (among countries that responded).

This was also before Sweden imported the migrant cultural diversity recently, while USA has been invaded by drug lords from the Southern border in the ensuing years too.

So don’t live here.
Unrelated, but I once turned down an international job offer that would’ve been such a great opportunity, but would’ve had me based in Stockholm. The weather was the main deterrent for me, and it seems to have some effect on the people, because in my experience, Swedes and other Scandinavians generally didn’t come across as the warmest.
But you have give them credit for creating a model, compassionate welfare state that cares for people of at all levels of society whilst remaining relatively crime (and gun) free.
whilst remaining relatively crime (and gun) free.
Did you actually read the thread?
Sweden has high crime (UN report, even before migrant influx), and more gun incidents than any comparable Euro country.

Sure, right wing. He looks like antifa.
Rapes are up 800 percent in Sweden since the globalist allowed a flood of Muslim invaders into the country. I made my last trip to Western Europe this Summer. Never again. London is lost, Hitler couldn't take and keep it but the Muslims have. 1 million whites have Fled from London in the last decade.
Remove the top 20 most violent zip codes and the USA is as safe or safer than most European countries.
Bottom line: 99% of americans don't live in violent/gun-crime areas.
Geez, just remove Baltimore from the US and we are probably one of the safest countries in the world.
Are Columbine, Sandy Hook and the Mandalay Bay Resort in Baltimore?
I agree, the weather sux wrote:

I think gun crime and gun suicides are much higher in Finland where everybody owns a gun.
Reading through this thread is sort of a sad experience for a non-US citizen. Whenever gun violence is brought up, instead of a rational conversation, people from there immediately get defensive and retreat into political camps. Some even become angry and indignant. However, the facts are out there for everyone to see. You guys have a problem with gun violence that is off the charts. It is unarguable. Once Sandy Hook happened and still no one budged from their positions, it became a lost cause. Clearly everyone wants to fiercely defend their "right" to own a dozen AR-15s and have the "you can have my gun when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers" mentality rather than have a sensible conversation.

Sweden should be punished for forcing IKEAA and its crappy furniture on the world.

Learning to spell IKEA, a simple four-letter word you see all the time, would be a good first step in punishing them.

Pun intended in my username. The far right is lost in your country, and holding the rest of you hostage.

My A got stuck A-hole.
I asked, "Well what is going to happen to those people we can't reeducate, that are diehard capitalists?" And the reply was that they'd have to be eliminated.
And when I pursued this further, they estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers.
And when I say "eliminate," I mean "kill."
Twenty-five million people.
I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of which have graduate degrees, from Columbia and other well-known educational centers, and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people and they were dead serious.
