Webb in the race would have been OFS.With the windy conditions my guess is Webb could have sit and kicked nicely.Ritz really fizzeled over the last 200.The Wimla U runner,4, Aaron Hollingshead, Willamette, 14:28.30?,who relunctantly passed Ritz with 150.Aaron actualy hesitated looking at Ritz on the curve from lane 2 in apologetic disbelief then went on ahead.
Ritz had a nightmarish moment of wondering if Aaron was about to beat him! Made my night and then some.Then there was the "congrates" (really a psychout) Ritz gave Rupp on his victory lap.While Jorge sought out advise and consolation from Coach Wetmore.
