1. I would travel more. Internationally. See the motherland, NZ, East Asia, all that good stuff.
2. I would get massages. All the time. At least 3 times a month, maybe twice a week.
Just not interested in hookers and blow.
How bout you? What concrete changes would you make?
Why are you so prejudiced against hookers and blow? What did they ever do to you, to deserve such negativity?
If money were no object, I would first need to come up with a new object. After that, I don't know what the second thing would be, as all I can think of is getting even more money. So, I think I would use the freedom of not having money as an object to really pursue getting more money, and then I would use that money to help me get more and more money. Now that I think about it, I am pretty happy with this answer.
ps. massages are not a big part of this plan.
1) Buy a bigger house on some decent acreage so that I could...
2) Build a recording studio to do some musical projects I've always wanted
3) Write a book without caring if it made money
4) Give back to running more and coach more kids
5) I'm pretty satisfied with my own running at my middle age and don't need too many bells and whistles for me. Massage would be nice.
6) Start a micro brewery.
7) Buy something nice for my children but nothing too outrageous to make them seem too different from their friends.
Heck, I should probably do most of these anyway.
Build a home in a warmer climate than Ohio that had these things:
* 4-lane bowling alley
* indoor pool with diving board area
* 80's style arcade complete with popular cabinet arcade games and pinball machines.
* State of the art music room/recording studio complete with many different keyboards and guitars.
* workout room with weights, treadmill, etc.

I agree with traveling, massages.
To go more into the running aspect, new shoes allllll the time as well as gear etc. A pool nearby so I could swim laps whenever I want (Nearest one is 30+min away and its a crappy pool)
Build a track at my local high school not only for my own benefit (nearest track is also 30min away), but to get running more popular in my area
I'd be a lot more selective with what I ate and probably eat healthier. Not that I eat bad now, but I'd have more money and time to spend prepping meals and eating healthier.
I saw your post and was thinking, "Poor guy. He must live in the middle of nowhere."
Then I looked up your IP and realized you live in London.
I guess boon docks and big cities are similar when it comes to pool access and track access.

Two changes: 1.. Live like you haven’t lived before and 2. share that with a soul mate....
I'd give about $10Bil to children's hospitals and starving people across the world. And that's just the start. Seriously? If you had unlimited money, you'd just travel more and get massages?
If I had unlimited money, I'd pay whatever price it would take to crap in your mouth and make you swallow it.

Maybe he already gives all his money to children's hospitals and starving countries so it wouldn't be a lifestyle change!
rojo, we've been over this IP thing already.
1. Drink beer.
2. Train like an animal.
Hmm, interesting. I enjoy my life and where I live and places I run. However, I would be more in deep joy if hubby could retire and we can run together more often.
The second thing I would do well, it's three...new kitchen and have all the floors sanded. LOL!
I don't think I'd change anything. I'm 61, set in my ways, and love my job. I'd like to live in a place that is a little sunnier and warmer. But not so much that I would be willing to give up either my job or my friends. Life is good.

Throwing money at a problem doesn't solve it. That is such a lazy solution; why do you hate starving children?
Besides, I clearly got rich by SOLVING world hunger. Duh.
PS- I am adding mouthwash to my list.

Thank you Mr. Dixon...
That's crazy. If money were no object I would make an amazing number of changes. I would have attended a better HS. I would have gone to a much better university. I would drive a better car. I would travel extensively. I would drink beer & train like an animal.
Just about every major decision you make IS determined by your income (or income of your parents.) Saying you would only change 2 things means you are a fool.
I would get my parents a house on a nice big lake or the ocean. Their choice. Probably get a couple small off-grid places for myself in my favorite environments.
Otherwise, certainly would quit my job and do whatever I want each day. Get a bunch of motorcycles, probably a few cars for different purposes. Nothing much in particular, I just like waking up with no obligations except to feed myself and get in some exercise to stay healthy.
Oh, and do everything I can about climate change, other ecological issues, and human rights issues, because those things suck.
I've been thinking about this and I'm going to fly my good friend Jeff to Kenya to do one of Renato's easy 7 x 3k reps sessions. You know you want it.
