Early 80's Konami "Track & Field" arcade upright. The one with the buttons, not the track ball. 100m, Long Jump, Javelin, 110m Hurdles, Hammer Throw and High Jump. Cutthroat electronic competition to determine the "World's Greatest Finger-Tapper". What's better than that?
Anyone play Populous? You built villages and cities but you could also use tornadoes, hurricanes, tidal waves, volcanoes and so on.
GTA 4 + 5 or Mariokart Wii. both were fun to play solo and with friends

Did you guys ever play Manhunt on playstation? THAT was a fantastic game.
Also the Street Fighter series on snes.
The Fight Night Boxing series.
Best Soundtrack of a game for sure.
In the original Sim City you could summon Godzilla
From the tail end of the arcade era, the Hard Drivin' and Race Drivin' simulators were a huge leap forward. Force feedback!
