I still am not convinced he was in New Haven.
I'll apologize if you prove it. Anyone can photoshop a sign in the background. The sign makes no sense as it's in the opposite direction of the IP and new haven.
LetsRunners, what would be the best way for him or her to prove it?
A photo of a New Haven paper would have been better or like a restaurant or a picture of a runner in the race.
Or you could send me your google location history?
How were you covering the meet? On a laptop/phone?
For what organization? If you are a member of the press, please tell us your name and we"ll confirm with New Haven.

Rojo, quit while you're behind. Your IP information is wrong. It has nothing to do with where he is, it is the last node from where his packet was routed.

Look, you lost malmo. Give it up, time to evacuate the premises.
The guy is generating content for your website at no cost to you. Why be adversarial about it?

Ugh. What don't you understand about the fact that location of a specific IP address has no relation with Moby Dick's physical location yesterday?
So in addition to proving he does not understand how IP addresses work, Rojo has also demonstrated he is not willing to apologize when he is wrong...

Can this be any surprise with someone whose ego is as big as his?

Agreed. And thanks for saying my coverage was the best you've read. It's appreciated. Galen was just hanging the first half, sitting back of the pack. Once he opened it up for the second it was seriously impressive. He really could have won by 2-3 seconds, he was cruising in the last 50-75 meters.
Your mistake was posting this positive message about Galen yesterday. Rojo doesn't like supportive NOP talk on here, so he's trying to cast doubt on your actually being at the race.
Although I agree with you Moby, anyone (Ron) who is that defiant to simply apologize over something that is so ridiculous and shows 100% that he's obviously wrong---isn't worth getting an apology from. You were right and Ron knows it, but he's purposely being stubborn for stubbornness sake and nothing else. Don't let him have that much power over you, he knows he's wrong. You were right and great coverage of the race!

+1. Reminds me of the "I told you so" tweet after Kipchoge narrowly missed breaking 2.
Moby Dick - u da man.

Generally when you're in a hole, you should quit digging. Damn son.
What aren't you getting?? The photo makes sense cause that's where I was when i found out you called me out. Newington, CT. 45 mins from New Haven, and i live in West Hartford. I wrote out the note, took a photo so you could see the time and date on my watch and posted it!! I covered the race with a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and my work's wireless dongle thing, something pointed out when I was pretending to plug it in an attempt to get a free new one from Microsoft. (A bad joke, but I was coming off a post race high from having my freaking boots on the ground!!!!).

Member of the press??? Did you read my reporting, I couldn't even name names. Here's the truth: I was at the race, and I got a mix of first hand views, buddies texting, a connection in one of the press cars, and a friend on twitter. I used it all to give updates to YOUR website just cause it was fun for me and hoped others would appreciate it. And you, dummy, called me a liar. You know what you should have said? "Thanks Mr Moby Dick". You're rude.

No, no, no--you're mistaken. You were in PA which is also where you live--Rojo's magic IP machine told him so.
