What's so good about being married to the same woman all your life?
Most great modern men get a new and younger wife when the time is ripe.

That new and younger wife will still have morning breath. She will still take nasty dumps. The exterior fades, son.
There are deeper meanings out there.

For you, yes. For most great modern men, no.

Please define "great" as you mean it here.

. . .. But, I have seen enough divorces over some really petty crap to believe that most marriages are doomed before the couple ever says "I do".
Really? And this is some kind of profound revelation?
Do you think that anyone over the age of 21 is not aware that "(many} marriages are doomed before the couple ever says "I do"?
* most marriages do not end in divorce

Ya, oops, that was supposed to say "most marriages that end in divorce were doomed before the couple said 'I do'"
To answer your question and again, I was thinking a broader picture...hard to that say if we knew what a healthy expectations were required b/c we both entered thinking it was the right thing even if one of us doubt going into it. Yes, we went to pre-marital counseling b/c I felt it needed it. Of course I see I made mistakes in the marriage but only b/c spouse made continuous mistakes of not meeting my needs--I only have myself to blame for that---listen---bottom line...woulda, shoulda or coulda but I'm not going to stop my life for mistakes I've made in the past. I can only learn, forgive and give back to the community. I'm not going to feel guilty for my recognition of mistakes.
Not my intent at all, buddy. Just trying to learn from others :-)
Thanks again for the transparency. All the best,

F you, loser.
Thanks to you, a child has been brought into the world who will never understand grammar.
My wife and I are in our early 60's. When we got married 41 years ago our agreement was "no dogs & no kids". We did eventually did get a dog but never had any kids. There was no particular reason for not having kids. We just could not come up with a good reason, nor the desire, to have them . We have never regretted this decision.
I'm 40 yrs old, not married and have no kids. My predicament is that I've been with my girlfriend for 3 years and I know she eventually wants kids. Which is great for her since she's 22 and has plenty of time to have kids while my years are running out.
Father God have mercy on his soul.
You're an idiot.

Hahahaha, you chucklef#cks and your "analysis" hahahahaha
If you were truly happy with your decision of being a father, you would never, ever, think this way yet alone write a post on a message board about your feeling towards people that decide not to have kids.
I'm sorry you feel this way and that you and your ex could not keep a family. Hope you will find peace in your life.
