The Koch brothers have done remarkably well over the last 10 years by peddling these lies in local tv ads in support of politicians who don't actually give a f*ck about gay marriage or Muslims. They're less emotional elites. They care about pushing legislation that will allow the Kochs to make a return on their tv ad investment.

When they get you all emotional, they are trying to make money. They themselves are nonemotional businessmen who wouldn't be caught dead at a local midwestern diner.

But hey that's capitalism. If you can't decipher data-driven opinions from billionaires buying local tv commercials to get you all emotional, then you deserve to be had.
