The people supporting the players as they pray instead of stand for the pledge are the same people bashing Christians for their belief in God.
Only in America.

lol....I can proudly say I'm through with the NFL.....
- I can think of hundreds of other jobs actually. Just have to work really hard - similar to these players.
- The NFL won't miss you (see my previous post). Also, I don't believe you - you'll be watching on Sunday.
- Aren't you racist guy who admitted to using steroids?
They're protesting because they're forced to play for the Cleveland Browns.[/quote]
According to the paper it was a starting quarterback reunion from the last three seasons .

Ratings were down last year, with protests being the primary reason.

Maybe. I personally don't think that had anything to do with declining ratings last year (the election, see the ratings during and after the election).
I am in favor of stopping playing the anthem before sporting events. Its a stupid political tradition that the owners have injected into the game.
You are dumber than the dumbest liberal
Ratings declined because of KC that's a fact. It's why ESPN is losing ratings big. Inject politics into sports and fans will go somewhere else

And that's coming from the jerker of all liberals
ESPN
I really think ESPN has LIBERAL orgies
ESPN is disgusting, that's for sure. I think 15 minutes of every hour has to be about social justice issues just to meet some sort of quota they are trying to hit. I watch SportsCenter each morning until they jump to a social justice issue (usually takes less than 15 minutes), then I'm off to another channel. ESPN is basically a hybrid of TMZ and CNN with sports added in.
I stopped attending professional sporting events several years ago when the pre-game started to resemble an Albert Speer production of war worship.

Hi LIBERAL snowflake if you hate America you can move
Did anybody notice that OH Supreme Court Judge Bill O'Neill went on Facebook and claimed his season viewing was over because these "draft dodgers" knelt during the anthem?
I can see a bunch of redneck hillbillies calling 22-28 yo football players draft dodgers, but a SCJ??? Did I fall asleep and miss a draft?

Nobody is bashing people for their belief in God - well. except people who believe in one god. bashing people for believing in some other god - they're bashing people for trying to make their god's laws the law of the land.
September 10, 2017. Mark it on your calendar:
The Steelers against the Kneelers.
Kneelers are hosting.
Wonder if those guys would still take a knee if it were Hendrix playing the National Anthem.
Then take a bow for every KIA since 1946, fighting for YOUR freedom, especially if you are a stockholder in a defense contractor or wall street casino.
Wonder if they will still feel as passionate about their protests when their paychecks start getting cut due to decreased viewership (of course is anyone watching the browns anyhow?). I find it ironic that in a sport that is 68% African American, on a team that has an African American head coach, players are complaining about systematic discrimination. I want to start a new movement called #judgeslivesmatter to protest violence against judges. How is it that we have a slew of posts when someone is killed by a cop, but hardly a whimper when someone tries to kill a judge (a direct attack on the legal system):

We can start by not watching any more NFL games for the rest of the preseason.

What else would the dawg pounders be doing on a Sunday afternoon besides getting drunk and collecting cans to pay for the Monday 12 pack?
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
