I am so frustrated with this issue that I hope someon can help! Shirt if it - Somewhat out of the blue my right leg started to drop/drag on ground or skid while running. I tried to fix myself with various running techniques only to now have added on issues - specifically my right leg is now pigeon toed in and right foot kicks out. I cannot stride fully ( which I believe is because of the now pigeon toed issue) and it's almost like my leg is so tight and stiff from knew to foot. It's like I have zero control of my leg. I've been an avid runner for 20 plus year - I'm now a 44 year old female - running 10-12 miles a day with long runs in weekends. I used to have a very efficient gait despite my side to side running style, now I cannot run AT ALL. I've been to sports doctors, PT etc and no one can fix it. Should I go to neurologist? Could it be pinched nerve or disc? Oh - and another main point - I have zero pain. Just a totally messed up gait and stride that now prevents me from running at all. The only time it feels close to normal is if I a, barefoot and in the grass. Anyone have this issue or know o can get it fixed? Resting does nothing - I haven't run for 13 weeks and just tried and bang - right out of the gate - it's all a mess. Please help!!
