They were 10 or 12 minutes behind schedule. That was obvious late in the telecast which was supposed to be only 2 hours.
Not a big deal, IMO. Bolt in his prime would have scoffed at an excuse like that. He already knew he couldn't run down Coleman from a deficit so when it set up with an even greater deficit I think his mind told his body to shut down.
If Michael Phelps had returned for the swimming world championships this year I have no doubt it would have been a sad sight. Phelps would have half assed the training just like Bolt did.
